Chapter 1 · 2007: Mobile Fitness Trainer
I got my MBA and took the corporate job. Within 17 months, I knew it wasn't for me. So I quit — and started training clients out of my Honda for $30-40/hour. 6am sessions all over the DMV, driving from house to house. I loved the work. I loved my clients. I just couldn't make the math work. I was getting burned out fast!
Chapter 2 · 2008 – 2011: Private Studio Owner
So I built a private studio right behind my house. Investing over $100K for the remodel. Raised my rates to over $150/hour. Clients came to me now — and I was proud of it. But the math still wasn't mathing! To make real money, I'd need more and more clients every single day. I was trading my family, my fun, and my freedom — for dollars and hours. It was time for a breakthrough...
Chapter 3 · 2012 – Now: Online Fitness Entrepreneur
Then I went fully virtual — and never looked back. No more driving. No more trading hours for dollars. Today I work 100% online, consistently earn multiple 6-figures a year, and sell programs while I sleep. That was the real revenue and lifestyle shift!
In 2012, I launched my first online product — Contest Prep Secrets, an e-book that generated $30,000 in downloads the first year. I had always told my mom one day I'd buy her a house — I just never knew how. That e-book income was how. I took it and closed on her house in November 2012. She was 65, and it was her first home. Watching her turn the key for the first time — seeing how proud she was — taught me something no certification ever could: your expertise, packaged the right way, can change someone's life.
